I'm down to the final two weeks on my study-abroad, which means finals and packing (ugh) and all sorts of random papers to get in order. I'm also finishing up buying presents for various friends and relations, which is much more fun.

This is リーゼントくん, who I got for my little cousin; I think he's supposed to be a dog, but he's definitely purple and has a rockabilly hairstyle.

According to his tag, リーゼント (Ri-zento) wanted to be different from his family, so he dyed his hair purple and started listening to rock music . . . a dangerous road indeed. He likes to say "ブーン ブーン" like a stereo, but no one understands him. かわいいそうね。

I love the awesomeness of my nerdy rhyme.

This sign also makes me happy. It was posted in the train station as instructions for the big red button.

Note the little startled lines radiating off the people, and the "oh!" of shock and alarm.
